Catherine's unique medium has awarded her the chance at a 2021 artist residency in the secluded Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in Michigan. Her first Artist-in-Residency position was at John Day Fossil Beds National Monument in Oregon in the fall of 2019 and she was grateful to fulfill her second residency in 2020 at Petrified Forest National Park. Catherine received a grant from Fiber Art Now in 2020 to assist in her PEFO residency. Other highlights in Catherine's career have been the 2019 Juror's Choice award at the Early Bird Art and Craft show promoted by Valley Art Center and Lowe's Greenhouse, the second place award in the fiber category at the 2019 New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival and having her work represent Pennsylvania's chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers at the 2019 Rendezvous.
